British brand Clarks enters southern India market

According to Gautam Raheja, Corporate Marketing Director of Clarks, “We are very happy to set up our first store in South India and Chennai will be a starting point. We are convinced that the brand is already spread all over India and elsewhere in the world and will be given to people in Chennai. Bring the kind of footwear that everyone expects.”

It is reported that women's footwear is between 12,000 and 8,000 rupees, while men's footwear is between 2,500 and 8,000 rupees, and children's footwear is between 1,299 and 2,500 rupees.

Clarks currently has 1,000 stores in 100 countries around the world. In India, the brand is located in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. Clarks entered India in April 2010 and opened 12 stores in the first year. According to relevant personnel of the company, Clarks will quickly open a store in Hyderabad and open two stores in Bangalore.
