As another year comes to an end, I can't help but reflect on how quickly time seems to fly by. It feels like just yesterday I was writing about the previous year, marveling at all the incredible things you've accomplished.
This year has been especially meaningful as I've watched so many of you grow in your sewing journey. From creating stunning garments to experimenting with unique fabric combinations, each of you brings something special to our vibrant community. Whether you're following the Building Block Dress pattern or putting your own creative spin on it, there's no denying the passion and dedication you pour into every project. Thank you for being such an integral part of this sewing family. Your presence here on the blog, in our forums, and across social media platforms like Flickr, Pinterest, and our newer Facebook groups—Liesl + Co. Friends and Oliver + S Friends—never fails to inspire me.
As we approach the holidays, my heart is filled with gratitude for all of you. This season is not only about celebrating but also taking a moment to pause and cherish the connections we've made along the way. To everyone reading this, I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of crafting time!
The Oliver + S team and I will be stepping back for a brief period to recharge and prepare for the exciting projects ahead in 2018.
