Textiles must be affixed with a label of origin - EU

There are four main requirements for the new EU regulation:

First, the label of the textile product must indicate the country of origin. If the product has a packaging, it should be stated on the packaging.

Second, other commercial documents showing the origin of the product cannot be used as a substitute for the label.

Third, a textile spinning, weaving, finishing or sewing several manufacturing processes in at least two links in the EU production, it is considered to be originated in the EU countries textiles.

Fourth, the textile label must clearly show whether it contains non-textile parts such as Fur and leather derived from animals, such as products imported from third countries, it should be mandatory to affix a label of origin.

In the six months since the implementation of the law, China has increased the trade risk of China's textile exports, raised the difficulty of export, increased the production of enterprises, increased the burden on enterprises, and extended the customs clearance time of goods. For risks and difficulties, it is necessary to do a good job in the inspection of export products and consultation with suppliers, and try to avoid unnecessary harm.
