WHY HOZEN?
It’s vegan and crafted with premium recycled materials that are super soft. Most importantly, the colors and designs are stunning! Even the smallest details, like the stitching and finishing, show great care and attention.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE.
I’m drawn to asymmetrical trims and unique details. I love accessorizing my outfits with jewelry and bags. Since I spend a lot of time working physically in my studio, I prioritize comfort above all else.
WHAT'S A SELF-CARE PRACTICE YOU DO TO STAY HEALTHY?
I start my day with some light stretching, followed by sipping on warm lemon tea and water. I also make sure to load up on veggies, though I still feel like I could eat more, even as a committed vegan!
WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I love soaking up fresh air in my backyard to boost my vitamin D levels and spending quality time with my dog. In the evenings, I often find myself sketching out new ideas and designs for fun.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Nature, animals, and human stories inspire me deeply. Whenever I encounter someone who pours their heart into their work, regardless of the field, it motivates me to keep pushing forward!
FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
My hometown in South Korea holds a special place in my heart. I visited five years ago and had hoped to return this past spring to reconnect with loved ones, but unfortunately, the pandemic has delayed my plans. It remains at the top of my travel list!
GUILTY PLEASURE?
Absolutely ice cream and donuts! My absolute favorite is the corn almond soft serve from Magpies in Silverlake.
