[China Glass Network] (1) Cleaning of glassware:

Washing of newly purchased glassware

The vessel was immersed in a 2% hydrochloric acid solution for several hours to remove free alkaline material and finally rinsed with running water.

For larger vessels, such as large flasks, measuring cylinders, etc., after washing, inject a little concentrated hydrochloric acid, rotate the container to make the inner surface with hydrochloric acid, pour hydrochloric acid after a few minutes, then rinse with running water, and put it on the washing rack. Allow to dry and use.

Washing of old glassware

It is true that there are no pathogens or vessels that are not contaminated with fungi. Before and after use, they can be washed with washing powder water as usual;

The pipette that has taken the chemical reagent is first immersed in clean water, and after a certain amount, it is concentrated and cleaned.

Washing with glassware

All kinds of bacteria used in the laboratory and various glassware with live bacteria must be sterilized or sterilized before being washed:

1. Carry the culture dish, test tube, triangle bottle and other items. After the experiment, put it into the disinfection barrel and sterilize it with 0.1MPa for 20~30min. Sterilize the culture-containing culture dish, and the bottom cover should be placed in different barrels separately and then autoclaved.

2, the straw and the dropper with bacteria should not be placed on the table after use, immediately after being disinfected for 24 hours in a glass jar (cylinder) containing 3 to 5% of Sol or 5% of carbolic acid or 0.25% of benzalkonium chloride solution. After sterilization for 20 min at 0.1 MPa, the rinse was taken out.

3, the bacteria slides and coverslips, should not be placed on the table after use, immediately placed in a glass jar (cylinder) containing 3 ~ 5% to Sur or 5% carbolic acid or 0.25% neochelin solution disinfection for 24h After that, use a clip to remove it and rinse it with clean water.

For example, slides for bacterial staining should be boiled in 50g/L soapy water for 10min, then washed with soapy water and then washed with water.

u Finally, immerse the slide in 95% alcohol for a while, remove it with a soft cloth, or dry it and store it for later use.

If the dish can not be washed with soap, soak it in the wash solution for a suitable period of time and then wash it with water.

4, cleaning with grease-containing equipment

Autoclave alone: Sterilize with 0.1MPa for 20~30min → pour off the dirt → pour on the basket with absorbent paper → bake at 100 °C for 0.5h → boil with 5% sodium bicarbonate Time → brush again with soapy water.

(2) Drying or drying of glass equipment

Non-urgent glass equipment: can be dried naturally in the laboratory;

Urgent glass equipment: put the equipment in the tray (large equipment can be placed directly into the oven), then put it in the oven, dry it at 80~120 °C, then open the equipment when the temperature drops below 60 °C .

(3) The dressing of the utensils:

The vessels to be sterilized remain sterile and need to be bandaged prior to sterilization.

(1) Petri dish: The washed Petri dish is stacked every 10 sets (or as needed) after drying, and is rolled into a tube with a firm paper, or placed in a special iron drum, and then sterilized.
